  • Seaview Insurance Company/Aegis Security Insurance is a non-standard auto insurance carrier in the states of CA and TX. Our Phoenix, AZ claims office is currently hiring for Auto Claims Adjuster positions. This position will handle and process non-standard auto claims. This is a HYBRID position, with a minimum of 2 days in the office upon completion of 2-3 weeks of office training. Must have claims experience of 2 plus years.     Duties & Responsibilities:

    Investigate losses, identify coverage, evaluate liability and damages, establish damages and settles auto liability and property damage claims. Conduct thorough investigation to arrive at a fair settlement, including interviews with insureds, claimants, and witnesses. Establish initial reserves for all potential exposures and adjust as appropriate throughout the claim. Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and exercise good judgment. Develop plan of action to proactively resolve claims and effectively manage pending claim files. Provide timely contact with all required parties. Comply with state specific regulations and state fair claim practices requirements. Documents and communicates all claims activities timely and effectively and in a manner which supports the outcome of the claims file. Provide excellent customer service including keeping appropriate parties updated throughout the claim’s adjustment process. Identify subrogation and salvage opportunities. Sends appropriate correspondence and communicates with customers and repair facilities.

    Required Skills:

    Ability to deliver exceptional customer service through proactive claims handling. Must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills and be able to multi-task. Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships within department, across the organization and with external customers. Must possess strong understanding of property and casualty insurance and claims handling process. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Upholds organizational values, treats others with respect and works with integrity and ethically. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products and data entry skills. Self-motivated team player.

    Position Qualifications:

    2+ years of insurance claims adjusting experience. Experience in non-standard auto in the State of California and Texas auto claims a plus.

    Schedule: Hybrid work schedule that allows 3 days of remote work each week. Must be available during CA or TX core business hours.

Our Phoenix, AZ claims office is currently hiring experienced Auto Liability Supervisors. Must reside in the great Phoenix area. This is an office position. New work perk: Employer sponsored lunch program. Only applicants with auto claims supervisory experience will be considered.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring the delivery of timely and efficient service through the daily supervision of claims staff following the company guidelines.

    • Providing technical guidance to staff on claim coverage, liability investigations, reserving evaluation and resolution of claims.

    • Reviewing individual adjuster work product and performance on a daily basis.

    • Providing individual adjuster coaching and career development direction.

    • Delivering timely performance management feedback and reviews to claims Staff.

    • Effectively control the use, work product and expenses of outside vendors.

    • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external customers.

    • Actively participate in committees and meetings.

    Qualifications

    Seaview Insurance is expanding, and we are looking for an extraordinary person to join our on-site Claims team as a Total Loss Claims Representative based in Phoenix, AZ. Every day is different as you work to resolve problems and we ask that you be willing to work hard in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. It is also expected this person will exhibit strong interpersonal skills with other team members, while providing strong contributions to company and claims department. You will be responsible for helping our customers get back on the road after an accident by negotiating and settling auto total loss claims by phone.     • Partners with appraisers, estimators, and vendors to manage the total loss process.

    • Obtains values on total loss vehicles based on pre-existing damage, mileage, and wear and tear by using CCC total loss software and estimating platform.

    • Helps coordinate the relocation of total loss vehicles to salvage yards or other locations to minimize storage fees.
